When Maui’s Talia Gangini set out to compete in this year’s Molokai2Oahu race, she hoped to better her previous time. In her second solo SUP M2O crossing, the 19 year-old not only bettered her time by more than thirty minutes, but she also took home the win. The new queen of the Ka’iwi chronicled her journey to the M2O victory and gives us a look into the mind of a young champion.
