Camp David SUP World Cup completes European Trilogy
The Waterman League is proud to announce the Camp David Hamburg SUP World Cup, the third and final stop of the World Series’ European Trilogy and Stop 5 of the 2013 Standup World Series.
Taking place from August 16th – 18th, the Camp David Hamburg SUP World Cup will bring the world’s best to the city of Hamburg, N. Germany for this dynamic stop on the 2013 Standup World Series.
With an overall prize purse of just under US$20,000 (EUR15,000), with US$13,000 (EUR10,000) for the World Series and US$7,000 (EUR5,000) for the Amateur competition, there is truly something for everyone, as one of the most spectator-friendly racing amphitheaters opens its arms to the Standup World Series for the culmination of the European leg of the 2013 World Series.

European Trilogy comes to life on the 2013 World Series
With the countdown for the Oleron Island Standup Paddle Challenge now underway (June 7th – 9th) and the build up to the Bilbao World SUP Challenge heating up (June 21st – 23rd), the launch of the Hamburg SUP World Cup completes the Trilogy and creates a dynamic platform for the sport of standup paddling in Europe.
Beyond the World Series points towards the 2013 Title, there is also the prestigious European Trilogy Title for the best Male and Female athlete from across the three events, trophies and complimentary stays at Turtle Bay Resort for the climactic Finals of the 2013 season, with more to be announced over the coming week.
In addition, with $50,000 prize money at stake across the three events, and featuring amongst the very best athletes in the world, the European Trilogy has put its footprints in the sand and the stage is set for one of the most exciting few months of racing yet.

France and Bilbao, Basque Country Spain up next
The Oleron Island Paddle Challenge is coming up next from the June 7th – 9th. Taking place on the beautiful Island of Oleron, West France, the Oleron Island Paddle Challenge will welcome some of the sport’s leading characters in just over 10 days time, as the world’s best descend upon this historical region of France.
It will all start with an opening event on the 7th, with long distance and sprint racing through the 8th and 9th. Bilbao World SUP Challenge to bring surfing to the City
Spain ‘s City of Bilbao, set in the Basque Country, will provide a spectacular backdrop for Stop 4 of the 2013 World Series, and Stop 2 of its European Trilogy. Featuring the highest prize money for the World Series Trilogy, the Bilbao World SUP Challenge will transform the perception of the sport in its historic setting, as the World’s best descend on this unique region of Spain for this flagship stop.

Immersed TV to launch and US Trilogy to be announced
