Beginner SUP: Tahoe Rubicon
12’ X 30” X 5” (269 LITERS)
Touring is the easiest way to start standup paddling. All you have to do is put your board on the water and start paddling. We recommend the Tahoe Rubicon, purpose built for paddling on flat water, short or long distance. The Rubicon’s displacement hull splits the water like a razor but the generous width reduces wobble. This translates to going fast without worrying about falling over. You can also take long day trips or overnight trips thanks to the board’s thickness and extra-large leash plugs, distributed around the tail and nose, which allow for strapping down drybags and handling the extra weight. And Tahoe’s KoreGuard construction will take years of abuse whether your paddling down coastlines or storing it in the lake house.
