Plus we wanted to see more Candice Appleby and Anthony Vela, who won the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively. If you recall, the best racers in the world were in Southern California for a series of great events including the Victory Race, the Hennesey’s World Championships and the Battle of the Paddle. Not to mention the Standup World Tour. So enjoy a bunch of skilled athletes surfing really big boards in Huntington Beach. And here’s to next year. Check out the SUP magazine recap here.
