Full Time Fish & Game Warden to Appear in Episode Operation Impostor
(Los Angeles, Calif.) – Rob Rojas, recent member of Team USA at the 2012 ISA World Standup Paddle & Paddleboard Championships of Team USA, will appear on two episodes of National Geographic’s Wild Justice, Operation Impostor. The two episodes will air April 29th and May 22nd respectively. The episodes center around an elite team of California Wardens who protect offshore sport and commercial poachers fishing on the high seas.
The men of Operation Impostor conduct inspections of proper permits, regulating cached game and correct hunting gear per species. Professional standup paddleboarder Rob Rojas has been a warden for many years. “It’s a demanding career, sometimes late hours and I can be out on the boat for a few days at a time,” Rojas said. “But I grew up having a passion for wildlife and the outdoors. I consider it a blessing to be able to get paid to protect our natural resources and work in the wildlife.”
Rob’s recent standup paddleboard race was 1st place at the Mauli Ola Foundation Relay. Upcoming races include: Hovie SUP Festival April 14th, Watermans Sunscreen Paddle For Humanity April 28th, the Key West Classic May 12th, and the O’Neill Tahoe Cup Race May 26th.
