Andrew Logreco Signs with YOLO Paddles
YOLO Paddles, a division of YOLO Board, LLC, is thrilled to announce that two-time Molokai 2 Oahu (M2O) stock class winner Andrew Logreco has been named a team ambassador of the company’s expanding line of performance paddles. Engineered by master craftsman and veteran paddler EJ Johnson, the Florida-based SUP lifestyle retailer debuted its race-winning performance paddle line earlier this year, which is currently available in two colors and three blade sizes.
Hailed as the ‘dark horse’ by fellow watermen, Logreco is arguably one of the fastest stock board downwind paddlers in the world, having won the prestigious 32-mile M2O Paddleboard World Championships twice in his division and beating the industry’s best on a consistent basis in other races. A teen longboard champ, barefoot marathon runner, and vegan, 30-year-old Logreco spends his time surfing giant waves and saving lives on Oahu’s North Shore during the winter months as a full time Honolulu County lifeguard.
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Andrew to the YOLO Paddles family,” said Jeff Archer, YOLO Board’s CEO. “Having recently launched the ultra light EJ Johnson performance elite paddle line, it’s the biggest compliment to have Andrew stoked on our paddles. His athletic ability and lifestyle is a perfect match for YOLO Paddles.”
Logreco’s latest wins include the recent Hawaii Paddleboard Championship (Duke’s Race) taking the overall win on a 12’6” FLIGHT board with a YOLO EJ Performance medium blade paddle, and the 17-mile Na Pali Paddleboard Race taking line honors on a 14’ stock board.
“I’m excited to be the first to sign with YOLO Paddles,” adds Logreco. “The EJ Johnson performance elite series paddles are super light with a great feel and release. A winning combination for sure.”
