Only days away, Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2013, scheduled for July 31 – August 3, in Salt Lake City, is gearing up with a number of new events, show features, education and business inspiration for the industry’s most influential retail market.
Preliminary numbers show both ORSM 2013 overall and retailer attendance will be on par with 2012, even after show organizers continue to restrict unqualified attendance, and limit expansions and late exhibitor applications.
“We are excited to deliver the most compelling new product story ever seen at OR as the pace of innovation is accelerating from an already fast pace set in recent years,” said Kenji Haroutunian, Emerald Expositions vice president and Outdoor Retailer show director. “We welcome the industry to its annual gathering in just a few short weeks.”
Booth space for Summer Market is sold out, filling the exhibit spaces of the Salt Palace Convention Center and approximately 95,000 square feet in The Pavilions @ OR, located directly outside the Salt Palace’s north entrance and across South Temple.
Outdoor Retailer will highlight the latest products and technology from more than 1,000 returning, iconic outdoor brands and more than 275 new exhibitors, including brands like Fox Head Inc, Griffin Technology, Hang Ten, Incipio, JVC Company of America/JVC Adixxion, STR/KE MVMNT, TOMS and Trimble Outdoors.
Crumpler, Gaiam Inc., Mountain Khakis and Dickies are just a handful of brands returning to the show after a brief absence.
New events and programs for Summer Market are being added daily to the online schedule of events. A few highlights include:
Fly Fishing Events and Spaces
