(SAN PAOLO, BRAZIL) — The Standup World Tour’s AlmaSurf Mormaii International, presented by Skol, has wrapped up with Brazil’s own Leco Salazar taking the win. Although the Hawaii Island Finals are scheduled for November, the calculations are in and by taking second in Brazil, Maui’s Kai Lenny has secured World Title number two.
Lenny went head to head with the Brazilian, but spurred on by the home crowd, Salazar put on a phenomenal show for Maresias. Although Salazar was able to get this last win and secure his second place position on the tour, Lenny will still have more points now than Salazar could possibly obtain at the Finals.
The Hawaii Island Finals, taking place Nov. 26th to Dec. 4th, on the Big Island of Hawaii, will determine final rankings for third through 10th places. Check back soon for updates and an interview with the two-time world champ….
