Limited Spots Remain for Maui Dream Retreat

If spending a week standup paddling with the pros on Maui sounds like a dream vacation, you’ll want to listen up.

SUP magazine’s Maui Dream Retreat is offering a unique opportunity to participate in the famous OluKai Ho’olaule’a and paddle the world’s best bumps with the world’s best paddlers.

This exclusive SUP adventure takes place April 25-30 on Maui’s North Shore and will feature some of the sport’s top athletes – Zane Schweitzer, Suzie Cooney and Jeremy Riggs – personally teaching participants how to paddle the world-famous Maliko Run.

Thanks to its consistent breeze, the Maliko is one of the most hallowed downwind runs on the planet. However, this paddle destination is not for everyone, especially without the proper training and support.

That’s where the Maui Dream Retreat comes in. Participants will be fully equipped with gear, boards, ride shuttles, a full safety team, and the experienced guidance of their professional coaches, who will be paddling right alongside you. It doesn’t get much better than that.

“This is an opportunity to downwind paddle at the mecca for the discipline,” said Will Taylor, SUP magazine editor. “Not only that, but we have the world’s best paddlers to help teach you, and it just so happens that they’re locals.”

When not on the water, guests will also be able to brush up on essential skills during various clinics on fitness, technique, ocean knowledge, safety and much more.

Finally, after a memorable day of paddling, guests will kick back at the luxurious Lumeria Maui Retreat Center, located just three miles above the historic plantation town of Paia.

The cost of the camp includes boards, hotel, beer, food and downwind shuttle (the race fee for the Ho’olaule’a is not included).

There are only a couple spots remaining. So if spending a week paddling in paradise sounds too good to pass up, the time to sign up is now.
