14th Annual Seaside Slide
Saturday, April 7
It’s that time of year again! In this 14th year of the annual Seaside Slide, paddlers will navigate the shore break to the start along side the sailboat, Windara, anchored just outside the surf line. Racers will follow the kelp line north to Moonlight Beach for the buoy turn and head back toward the finish line.
Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race starts at 8:30

Florida State Paddleboard Championships
Saturday, April 7
East Coast Paddle Board Association Points Series event.
Two races held at one great event. Compete in the Florida State Paddleboard Championship 7-mile race and then race for the title of King or Queen of the Beach at Shepard Park in Cocoa Beach. The King/Queen of the Beach is a paddle, run, swim sprint event typically running about 15 minutes and will be held after the 7-mile race.
The competitor with the best combined time in the 7-mile race and the King/Queen of the Beach race will receive the Grand Champion trophy, and the top two finishers in each category will get their names engraved on the Perpetual Trophy.
The race will be sanctioned by the World Paddle Association. Current WPA members will have their results submitted to the WPA for ranking. All WPA members must submit their WPA membership number with their registration.
*Coast Guard-approved PFD’s and leashes required for 7-mile race
Beach registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 9:30 a.m.
Race start is at 10:00 a.m.
SUP Spring Camps
Sunday, April 8 – Sunday, April 15
Take a spring break down at Sebastian Inlet, Florida for a week of SUP. Test your open ocean skills, SUP surf, and cruise the flats of the inlet. Camp runs Sunday, April 8 to Sunday, April 15; week 2 will be held April 15th to April 22; week 3′s Mini Camp will be 4 days. Cost is $475; $375 for the Mini Camp
Paddle Sport Performance will also be holding a WPA Instructor Certification Course during Week 2 and during Week 3. Cost is $295 for Level 1 Certification (discount rate of $200 for registered camp participants).
