The British Virgin Islands has been named as the destination for the 2012 Location X. After a flurry of interest online and hundreds of voters sharing their wishes and favorite destinations from all over the globe, the decision has been taken for this beautiful chain of islands in the Caribbean.

Just because the weather is cooling off doesn’t mean SUP events are slowing down. Exhibit A: this weekend.

This week on the Wednesday Voice we talk to Gillian Gibree. She had a stellar year, winning the Waikiki Paddle Fest and finishing fifth at the Battle of the Paddle, Dana Point. Gibree talks about how she got into the sport and the diversity of standup, something that keeps her inspired.
