The Standup World Tour has touched down in Tahiti for its third stop of the year, the progressive Sapinus Pro. The event kicked off with the Na Kama Kai youth clinic, Expression Session and trials, with the Main Event scheduled to begin during the peak of the swell.

The Davenport Downwinder has gone off–in a grassroots sort of way–the past two years off the coast of northern Santa Cruz County. The 14-mile world-class downwind race is put on by a group of buddies that formed a non-profit organization, Ghostryder Watermen, which benefits the Santa Cruz Junior Lifeguard program.
