Looking back, it’s hard not to consider the Payette River Games a complete success. The best paddlers in the world met in a small Central Idaho town to battle it out on the river for three days. In the end, there weren’t ocean paddlers or river paddlers, there were just paddlers, having the time of their lives on a body of water.
