Paddleboarders Help Whale in Dana Point Harbor

Standup paddlers in Dana Point, California got quite the surprise when a juvenile gray whale found its way into the harbor. A helicopter from local news station ABC 7 captured the entire ordeal as the confused whale swam around surprised paddlers for over 30 minutes trying to locate an exit. After snapping a few pictures, the paddlers joined forces with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department to help guide the whale out of the harbor and back into the open ocean.
