OnIt Ability Board Makes National News

In 2013, we published a story on Charles “Chaka” Webb, a paraplegic standup paddler that first raced at the Battle of the Paddle (BOP) on an OnIt Ability Board, a special SUP that’s outfitted with an all-terrain wheelchair that locks in place. Since the 2013 BOP, Webb’s been racing in SUP events throughout California and making local news headlines with the OnIt Ability Board, designed by Hawaii’s Kawika Watt. But last week, the OnIt Ability Board gained national attention when NBC’s Today.com featured a story about the adaptive boards creating opportunity for those that are wheelchair-bound. We hope it inspires others to get on board.
