Paddler’s View | Pennsylvania’s Stonycreek Gorge

Springtime is primetime when it comes to flowers, warming temperatures, and whitewater paddling. From the roaring rivers of the Rocky Mountains to the cascading waters of the Appalachians, there could not be  a better time to be a river paddler. In this video, we see a standup paddler charging down Stonycreek Gorge, located in southwestern Pennsylvania. With one stretch of river offering up 15 rapids in four miles, this waterway is a whitewater enthusiast’s dream come true.
