Greenland’s Sermilik Fjord is not an easy place to paddle. Until recently, it hadn’t been attempted in documented history. But last year, among polar bears and calving glaciers, this group of nine adventurers paddled more than 100 kilometers along the Greenlandic East Coast until the ice was too thick to continue.
