It’s time for the final installment of The Indo Chronicles–a video series previewing the print feature, 14 Days in the Fall Issue of SUP magazine (on sale now). In this, the seventh installment, we profile Dave Kalama, one of Earth’s most fabled watermen. Aside from being on the forefront of the tow-surfing movement in the mid 1990s, Kalama is credited as one of the first practitioners of standup. Blessed with uncanny natural ability whether surfing or open-ocean racing , Kalama has mentored countless young Maui chargers, from Kai Lenny, to Connor Baxter to Slater Trout. Here, we pay homage to the guru.
SUP magazine would like to thank Slightly Stoopid for helping to profile Dave Kalama.
