On March 2, Mike Simpson and Meldrick Velez completed their 278-mile expedition around the island of Puerto Rico. They battled rare winds, raging seas and strong currents. But they also paddled in perfect conditions, they slept in hammocks swaying from palm trees, they downwind paddled for 35 miles at a time and they had a trip that neither will ever forget. In this video they tell us why they did it and how it was.
