Ever wanted to take a SUP trip to a remote destination but didn’t know where to start? Us too. That’s why we created the Galapagos SUP Adventure with Southern Explorations, a nine-day paddling excursion to some of the most isolated and beautiful regions in the Galapagos Islands.
The trip, November 30 through December 8, 2018, will be memorable from start to finish. You’ll visit the remains of cinder cones, snorkel with harmless sharks, see rare birds, paddle to rugged coves and visit the beach where Darwin first landed. You’ll see the world-famous Galapagos Sea Tortoises, stroll through a cacti forest and paddle through mangroves.
Along the way, Southern Explorations will take be sure to take care of all your needs. With over a decade of experience in Latin American travel, the folks at Southern Explorations don’t just talk the talk: their team personally vets their guides and experiences to make sure you have the best possible adventure. Their local guides are bilingual in Spanish and English, with a deep knowledge of this idiosyncratic area.
Two staffers from SUP will be document the trip for a feature story on the adventure. Guests will receive photos and video from their journey as souvenirs to attest to their once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
