Vote for your favorite place to live, paddle and launch adventures from in 2018!

As the sport, lifestyle and culture of standup paddling continues to grow, new SUP hotspots are developing roots around the globe. The wide world of SUP is fuller than it's ever been, and with that, the options for hubs to base from, or to use as a launching pad for paddling adventures, is only expanding.

Along the same lines, we have expanded our scope to determine the globe's best places to live and love standup paddling now. In the first iteration of SUP Magazine's Paddle Town Battle, we focused exclusively on the sport's U.S. regional hotbeds of passion and interest, with Rincon, Puerto Rico emerging as the winner.

This year, we've gone global. We asked you, our readers, to nominate your favorite towns from across the world based on proximity to water, community and general hospitality for the paddlers' lifestyle. We narrowed the list of most-voted nominees to pit eight larger, regional population centers boasting the best paddling variables in North America, against eight other SUP hubs around the world.

In the end only one location can win. You decide who claims the Best Paddle Town world title. Make your voice heard: Cast a vote for your hometown or dream paddling destination early and often. The voting period starts today and runs through the month of April. You can vote once a day for each day during this period, so make sure to vote daily and spread the word to support your town! We'll use the results to rank the world's top paddle towns with a feature profile in our upcoming Summer Issue.

Does your town have what it takes to win the SUP Magazine Paddle Town Battle? Cast your vote and make it known!
