Carolina Cup
Friday, April 27 – Sunday, April 29
Wrightsville, N.C.
The three-day event is taking over the Blockade Beach Runner Resort in Wrightsville, N.C. with four fun events, board demos, clinics and more. Races will be held Saturday and Sunday and include a kids race, recreational race, open race and elite race. Elite paddlers Anthony Vela and Candice Appleby will hold a race clinic Friday afternoon and Danny Ching's clinic will be held Sunday afternoon. Additional highlights include a WPA Paddle Fit Instructor Certification Course, an awards party and barbecue. Race proceeds to benefit Surfer's Healing and Karen Beasely Sea Turtle Rescue Hospital.

Funglisse SUP Event

Loire Atlantique, France
The first of European SUP Association event will feature four races, including beach, long distance, relay and fitness races. The long distance course is a 2-star EuroSUPA race and competitors racing stock (12'6) have the opportunity to win 1000€ in prize money.

M2M: Maui to Molokai
Saturday, April 28
Maui – Molokai, Hawaii
Maui Canoe and Kayak Club presents its signature event, the Maui to Molokai race. The international field of competitors takes off from a shoreline start at D.T. Flemings Beach on Maui and races the treacherous 26-mile Ka'iwi channel, or "Channel of Bones," to Kaunakaki Harbor in Molokai. Saturday's event kicks off with a mandatory racer's meeting and blessing before SUPs and prone paddleboards start at 9:05 a.m., then OC-1, OC-2 and surfskis leave the shore at 9:30 a.m.

Watermans Paddle For Humanity

Dana Point, Calif.
Watermans national race series is back in Dana Point, Calif., featuring a three-event platform including the 5K Olympic Distance, DOT (distance over time) Challenge and Chuck Patterson Signature Series 5-Lap Rally Race. Kona Brewing Co. will be hosting a Friday night meet-and-greet during check-in and registration, as well as an awards party Saturday afternoon.
Twenty percent of each paid entry fee goes to the organization that you select when you register. In addition, net event proceeds will be divided among these organizations.
Participating non-profits: Best Day Foundation, Keep Paddlin, Love146, LUNGevity, Navy SEAL Foundation, Ocean of Hope Campaign of the Sarcoma Alliance and Surfrider Foundation.

Improve your racing with the help of legendary waterman Dave Kalama and Jamie Mitchell in the 2-hour paddle technique clinic. Paddle Back Bay, Newport out of Newport Aquatic Center with Kalama and Mitchell while learning how to train smarter, race faster, and have more fun at all the races. The elite duo will be available after the clinic for Q & A time with snacks and Quickblade demo paddles will be provided for use during the clinic.

A day of SUP for the entire family at Orewa Beach. Demo standup paddleboards and check out the latest gear in the world of SUP before racing with your family in the Fun SUP Relay Race. Hang around with the kids for the sausage sizzle, a raffle and lots of giveaways. Proceeds benefit Orewa Surf Lifesaving Club

La Torche Pro Standup World Tour

La Pointe de La Torche, Brittany, France
The Standup World Tour makes its second stop of the year in France with 15 countries to be represented in the prestigious surfing event. The first European stop of the World Tour will feature trials and a main event, as well as a women's event and the Na Kama Kai Youth Challenge. Two-time World Champion Kai Lenny will be looking to secure another win at the stop amongst the 60+ competitors surfing in the trials. Local French standouts competing in the event include Antoine Delpero, Peyo Lizarazu, Manu Portet, Greg Closier, Alexis Deniel and Benoit Carpentier.
