This first collaboration between The Butterfly Effect, Hyatt Regency Maui and presenting sponsor Maui Jim, Maui Paddle for a Cure is a fun paddle and party to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for Susan G Komen Hawaii.The event will take place at Hanakao'o Beach Park (Canoe Beach) in Ka'anapali on Saturday, October 25 from 8:00am to 12:30 pm.

Maui locals and resort guests are invited to participate in the non-competitive fun paddle. The event is open to SUP, kayak or canoe, and participants will paddle from Canoe Beach to Whaler's Village and back (approximately two miles). An exclusive after party and silent auction at Sunset Terrace at the Hyatt Regency Maui will feature food and drink specials, and special performances, including Hawaii's own, Anuhea!

Sign up by October 15th to receive the best entry fee pricing. Entry fee includes paddle participation, a pink event rashguard, admission to the after party, and a chance to win a door prize! After-party-only tickets can be purchased as well.

• 8:00 am – 9:00 am: Check-in, Late Registration
• 9:00 am – 9:30 am: Blessing, Safety Meeting
• 9:30 am – 12:30 pm: Paddle
• 11:30 am – 2 pm: After Party at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa

• 9:30 am: 2-Mile Start (non-competitive timing)
• 10:00 am: 0.5-Mile Start (fun paddle with guide)
• 10:30 am: 0.5-Mile Start (fun paddle with guide)
• 11:00 am: 2-Mile Start (non-competitive timing) – Last paddle!

Entry Fees

• $65 per person ($75 after 10/15)
• $220 per team of 4 ($260 after 10/15)
• $300 per team of 6 ($360 after 10/15)
