It’s time to come out of the Halloween candy coma because the next few days are busy with events on both coasts. In the next four days, there are both single-day events as well as events that will be held over a few days, including races and sales on SUP gear and apparel. Calusa Blueway Paddling Festival, Fort Myers-Sanibel, FL

SUPer Scary SUP Race, St. Folly Beach, SC

Come out with the entire family (including the pooch) for four races in honor of Halloween. The event will feature an elite race, open race, kids race and even a dog SUP race. Top finishers in each category will receive awards and those that come in costume (dogs too) will have a chance to win more prizes. Hennessey's-WPA SUP & Paddleboard World Championships, Los Cabos, Mexico

Two days of competition with some of the best athletes in the sport. The world championships offers a course race (3.2 open, 4.8 elite), 11-mile long distance race and relay races for open and elite paddlers with awesome after parties and a sea turtle release. Sunday, November 4
Golden Nugget SUP Race, Mt. Pleasant, SC

Held in conjunction with the National Paddlesports Conference, the Golden Nugget SUP Race will feature an open 5k course as well an elite 10k course. Racing fees include an event shirt, admission to the after party, as well as food and drinks. There will also be a raffle with over $5,000 in cash and awesome prizes for all. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Mt. Pleasant Land Conservancy.
