The 2015 Women’s Pro Distance Race at the Pacific Paddle Games was one for the ages. After nearly six miles of hard paddling, the lead draft train consisting of the sport’s top female paddlers–Candice Appleby, Annabel Anderson, Fiona Wylde, Angie Jackson, and Shae Foudy–made the final turn to head towards the finish line on Doheny State Beach. Unbeknownst to them, a set of overhead waves was moving in to setup one of the most frantic finishes in SUP racing history. Relive the battle of champions with this thrilling recap video and get stoked for another epic time at #PPG2016.
