The Butterfly Effect is a series of international non-competitive events that spread the “aloha” lifestyle and strives to empower and inspire women through paddling by de-mystifying the sport and getting as many females on the water as possible. Aside from getting thousands of new paddlers on the water each year, The Butterfly Effect also raises awareness for important charitable groups like the SURFRIDER Foundation, DREAM Project, Malama Maui Nui, Women Helping Women, Planned Parenthood, Soroptimist Foundation South Lake Tahoe, HOWE Sound Women’s Centre of the Hawaii Foodbank and Maui’s Paia Youth Cultural Center. The mission of The BE Aloha World Tour is to activate awareness of our individual impact on the world.
