2014 marks the SEAPaddleNYC’s eighth year of bringing paddlers to the Big Apple’s inland waterways to benefit Autism, the Surfers’ Environmental Alliance and other charities. The race has raised 2 million dollars for it’s respective charities and last year, took home a coveted SUP Award in recognition of that effort. The larger than life backdrop of NYC is a compelling excuse to paddle the 26.5 miles (or 5-mile short course). Beneficiaries include Surfer’s Healing, Best Day Foundation, Autism Family Services of New Jersey and the Virginia Autism Project.
