Video | The Latest From Canadian SUP Champ Jeffrey Spencer
Jeffrey Spencer is what one might call a chameleon. He grew up on the water, so to speak, skiing the slopes of British Columbia near his home in Canada. When his family moved to Maui a few years back, he swapped sleds and began storming the island’s downwind runs and surf full-throttle on his SUP. You could say he’s acclimated well. He just wrapped up a solid performace at the ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championships in Fiji after winning a bid earlier this year with a victory at the Canadian National Championships of SUP surfing. And if that’s not chameleon enough for you, just watch Spencer and his younger brother Finn foilboard surfing. Not bad for a 15-year-old.
