From growing up in the breaks of Huntington Beach to coming of age on the lakes of  Mammoth Mountain to being swarn in among the wind and waves of Maui, Dave Kalama is a certified aquaman and a pillar of the waterman guard. He’s enjoyed standup paddling and other watersports his whole life, so much so that he made a career out of sharing them others. One of the most respected paddlers on the water today and an influential pioneer of our sport, Kalama’s story is an integral chapter to the history of standup paddling.
