Kai Bates Rides Wave For Nearly a Mile
Professional SUP surfer Kai Bates seems to have a knack for finding endless waves. Earlier this year, the Australian rode a tidal bore in Papua New Guinea for several minutes and now it appears he’s at it again. The winner of the Australian SUP title recently traveled to Peru and found a wave you’ll have to see to believe. As you can see in this footage, he rode the wave for two minutes and 30 seconds and nearly covered a mile of distance. It’s a sight to see and is sure to make you very, very jealous.
