Molokai 2 Oahu: The Arrival

The annual Molokai 2 Oahu (M2O) race is among the toughest ocean races out there and is a true test of the best paddlers in the world. Held each July, the 32-mile challenge takes competitors across the infamous Ka’iwi Channel (Channel of Bones), where rolling overhead swells and blistering heat allow only the strongest to complete the crossing. Here’s a look at the M2O and experiences from the athletes that accomplish the ferocious feat.
