River SUP in Northern Oregon

If river SUP is your passion, Oregon is your promise land. The Beaver State is filled with undeveloped wilderness and countless miles of rivers that snake through beautiful landscape. A prime example: the 284-mile long John Day River.

It is located in the northeastern part of the state and is completely undammed, making it perfect for a multi-day SUP river run. That is exactly what experienced whitewater paddler Paul Clark did and he even created this video to give us a small sample of his trip. Using a nice combination of drone footage and photos, Clark illustrates the peaceful serenity of northern Oregon and the rush of running rapids on the John Day River.
