Sometimes you just need to go for it. Those are words to live by for James Whittle and Tom Caulfield–aka The Tempest Two. The duo has made a living by going on insane expeditions, many of which involve sports they are still novices in.
This was the case for their latest undertaking: an 1100-mile ultra-triathlon in Patagonia that included a 1000-mile bike ride, 40-mile run and 75-mile SUP expedition across a glacial river connecting two great lakes, Viedma and Argentino.
Did we mention they first stepped on a paddleboard only a few months prior to their adventure? Call ’em crazy, but these two managed to complete this daunting undertaking late last year. Check out the highlights from their adventure in this new video.
