Welcome back to the Wednesday Voice with SUPthemag.com. Each Wednesday, we sit down with the personalities that make standup paddling great––from the athletes to industry insiders to event organizers and everyone in between.

This week we sit down with Brent Deal, the man behind one of the most anticipated standup films this year, H2Indo. The filmmaker talks about getting on board for the trip of a lifetime with some of SUP’s greatest athletes and what it was like capturing the action. H2Indo debuts at the Newport Beach Film Festival April 29th. Click here for ticket info.

It’ll be a big week for Deal, who will also debut a second film, Decade of Dominance, about Jamie Mitchell’s run to 10 straight Molokai titles in traditional paddleboarding. Curtains come up on Decade of Dominance April 28th in Newport.
