The Wenatchee River is pumping, and the local whitewater chargers of Icicle Village are out in force despite subzero temperatures. And for good reason…the river’s at it’s highest flow in 7 years, 20,000 cfs, give or take. Now that’s turbulence. This aught to give you an idea for what it’s like to run the Wenatchee at peak flow, sans the frostbite and bruised bones.
